ERANet-LAC is a Network of the European Union (EU) and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) on Joint Innovation and Research Activities. It strengthens the bi-regional partnership in Science, Technology and Innovation by planning and implementing concrete joint activities and by creating a sustainable framework for future bi-regional joint activities.

NORFACE
Since 2004 the NORFACE network has proved itself as a successful coordinated common action of sixteen national research funding agencies. NORFACE (New Opportunities for Research Funding Agency Cooperation in Europe) has offered unique opportunities for participating funding agencies by developing common research funding instruments, thus creating opportunities for facilitating and building new networks of research collaboration in the social sciences.

Atlantic Future
ATLANTIC FUTURE is a 3-year collaborative research project funded by the European Commission under the Seventh Framework Programme. The aim of the ATLANTIC FUTURE is to study the rationales of cooperation in the Atlantic area and to suggest strategies to the EU on how to engage with the wider transatlantic relationship in the context of the ongoing redistribution of power and the overall rebalancing of relations around and within the Atlantic space.

ERA-Can+
ERA-Can+ promotes cooperation between the European Union and Canada in science, technology and innovation with a broad range of activities. These activities include publishing guides to support applicants on Horizon 2020 and Canadian programmes; preparing reports on Canada-EU STI policies and programmes, monitoring of joint projects, providing active support on both sides of the Atlantic through training/info sessions, an online helpdesk, webinars on special issues, roundtables on societal challenges, an up-to-date online event calendar and many more.

Net4Society is the international network of National Contact Points for the Societal Challenge 6 (“Europe in a changing world: inclusive, innovative and reflective societies”) and Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities (SSH) in Horizon 2020. National Contact Points (NCPs) are set up to guide researchers in their quest for securing EU funding.

Transworld
TRANSWORLD is a consortium of 13 academic and research centres from the EU, the US and Turkey formed to research the evolution of the transatlantic relationship and its role in shaping global governance architectures. TRANSWORLD is a project mainly funded under the European Union’s 7th Framework Programme that is going to unfold for three and a half years, started in March 2012.
